Going to the Chiropractor is a new experience for many of us. Maybe you've heard through a friend or have done some research online, but oftentimes we still aren't sure what to expect. It's possible that you are just fed up with symptoms preventing you from functioning at your best, and it's time to do something about it. It is also possible that you want to protect your health and ensure your body remains strong. In either case, your first visit to the chiropractor will really be about getting to know the chiropractor and discussing your history, current condition, and goals.
As with any doctor's visit, you'll begin by completing new patient paperwork. This can either be done in office during your first appointment, or we can email you majority of the forms for you to fill out at home to save you time. Then, upon meeting with the doctor, you'll discuss your concerns and expectations as well as have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. The Doctor will then perform a physical examination, scans of your nervous system, and most likely schedule a time to take a few x-rays to further confirm what your current state is.
Once this is complete, you and the Doctor take a look at the overall results of your exams and previous conversation. Together, you'll come up with a plan of action to correct issues or maintain wellness. This plan will begin when you are completely satisfied with it and ready to move forward.
When the plan is finalized and you are ready to begin, you will receive your first adjustment! Then, together, we will begin your journey to wellness!
